ADMISSION

Dr. Martin Weger is admitted as a lawyer in Germany.

The following professional regulations apply:

the Federal Lawyers' Act (BRAO),
the Professional Code of Conduct for Lawyers (BORA),
the Act on the Remuneration of Lawyers (Lawyers' Remuneration Act - RVG)
the Regulations for Specialist Lawyers (FAO) as well as
the Code of Conduct for European Lawyers (CCBE Code of Conduct).

These professional regulations are available on the website of the German Federal Bar Association www.brak.de, under the section 'Information obligations pursuant to Section 5 TMG'.

PROFESSIONAL LIABILITY INSURANCE

Professional liability insurance is provided by Allianz Versicherungs-AG in 10900 Berlin. The geographical scope of the insurance coverage extends to activities in the member states of the European Union and thus at least meets the requirements of Section 51 of the Federal Lawyers' Act (BRAO).

Out-of-court dispute resolution

In disputes between a lawyer and their client, there is, upon request, the possibility of out-of-court dispute resolution with the regional Bar Association Frankfurt am Main (pursuant to Section 73 (2) No. 3 in conjunction with Section 73 (5) BRAO) or with the Arbitration Board of the Legal Profession (pursuant to Section 191 et seq. BRAO) at the German Federal Bar Association, which can be found online via the homepage of the German Federal Bar Association (www.brak.de), Email: schlichtungsstelle@brak.de

The European Commission has provided a platform for consumers at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/, which they can use to resolve disputes arising from online sales and service contracts.

ALTERNATIVE DISPUTE RESOLUTION IN CONSUMER MATTERS

Dr. Martin Weger is neither willing nor obliged to participate in a dispute resolution procedure before a consumer arbitration board.
